I’ve tried to focus a few experiences on the “Intro Game” of Distilled over the past week or two. While the full game is what I’ve originally had the intention of designing all along, I’m aware that it might be a wee bit heavy or complex for someone breaking it out for the first time! Because of that, we’re designing an “Intro Game” (we’re joking that it might be called “Your First Taste“!). It has some of the extra knobs and buttons stripped away, so that players can get a feel for the core of what makes Distilled unique – crafting spirits, aging them, and selling them! To that end, I decided it might be good to record a brief overview video for players who might be new to experiencing Distilled on Tabletop Simulator.
Additionally, I was invited by InGameUK to stream an intro version of Distilled live, on their Saturday playtest! I was honored to be able to share Distilled with them, and we had a great time making some spirits this past weekend.
